Dragon Stage Completes Custom 36-Hoist Lifting System for Guangzhou Cosmic Arena Bar
Guangzhou Cosmic Arena Bar, located in Tiande Square, Guangzhou, has become one of the city's most distinctive entertainment venues with its immersive performance concept and dynamic lighting experience. Designed as a "Z Space," the venue breaks away from traditional nightclub layouts by integrating moving stage technology, programmable lighting, and aerial performance systems to create an ever-changing visual environment.
Dragon Stage was proud to participate in this project by designing and manufacturing the custom lifting system that powers the venue's dynamic overhead lighting installation.

Cosmic Arena Bar is a Z space, its "unconventional" manner overturns the traditional music interpretation mode and creating a new wave of immersive performance.
The bar's aerial dance design consists of 36 lifting systems and a 3D simulation system, which is used to hang 11 hexagonal lifting lamp racks scattered around the hall and a three-layer lifting lamp rack in the middle.

An Immersive Performance Space
Unlike traditional bars where lighting remains fixed, Cosmic Arena Bar was designed to deliver an immersive entertainment experience. The venue combines music, lighting, aerial performances, and moving stage elements to continuously transform the atmosphere throughout the night.
One of the project's most distinctive features is the overhead kinetic lighting system, allowing different lighting structures to move into new positions during performances and themed events.

The upper structure uses multiple large curved aluminum truss arches connected by longitudinal truss sections, creating a wide-span architectural framework above the event area. This 14m × 10m Ringlock concert stage system is a customized large-event stage package combining a steel Ringlock stage platform, aluminum peak roof truss, 6m-wide side structures for LED screens, and dedicated structures for line array suspension.
The main performance platform measures 14m × 10m, with a requested stage height of up to 2m. Ringlock scaffolding is also used to build the surrounding support structures up to approximately 10m high, matching the main stage and the 6m-wide wings on both sides.

The table uses the same basic manufacturing logic as a professional aluminum stage platform: an aluminum frame, flat black working surface, rigid support structure, and replaceable modular components.
