Introduction
Outdoor obstacle races require structural systems that are very different from conventional event structures.
Unlike standard stages or exhibition structures, obstacle race systems must support dynamic human interaction, including climbing, swinging, jumping, and repeated impact loads.
For this Mudderhorn outdoor extreme sports project, the customer used Dragon Stage customized aluminum truss components to create a large-scale obstacle race structure. Based on the original engineering drawings provided by Dragon Stage, the customer completed the local installation and transformed the design concept into a real competition facility.
This project demonstrates how modular aluminum truss systems can be applied beyond traditional event applications and provide reliable structural solutions for extreme sports environments.
