Using artificial intelligence trained on a large collection of desert imagery, the installation generates constantly changing visual forms that blend natural dunes with the modern skyline of Riyadh.
The result is a dialogue between history and technology, encouraging visitors to rethink how civilization grows from its surrounding environment.
Alsafi uses AI to build a collective memory form based on a large amount of existing data (in this case, desert photos). On the crystal structure, Alsafi projects a video that moves between these undulating dune images and those of Riyadh.
