The DragonStage 14x6x6m Portable LED Screen Truss System with Additional Rear Support Pillar is designed for temporary LED screen installations at concerts, festivals, sports viewing events, exhibitions, and other live productions.

The nominal complete structure measures approximately:

The system uses large CS389×389 aluminum square truss for the horizontal beam framework and smaller CS289×289 square truss for the five vertical tower assemblies.

Five-Tower Configuration

The main feature of this product version is the five-tower layout.

The complete system uses:

5 sets of vertical CS289×289 tower assemblies

rather than only four corner towers.

Four towers form the principal perimeter positions, while the additional pillar is positioned behind the beam truss according to the project layout.

This additional pillar changes the beam-support geometry and provides another structural support location within the system.

14m CS389×389 Beam Trusses

The long side of the structure uses:

14m beam × 2 sets

Each 14m beam is assembled from:

  • 3m CS389×389 truss — 4 pcs per beam

  • 2m CS389×389 truss — 1 pc per beam

Therefore, the two 14m beams use a total of:

  • 3m CS389×389 — 8 pcs

  • 2m CS389×389 — 2 pcs

The main tube specification supplied for these sections is:

50×3.0mm

Using modular 3m and 2m sections means the 14m beam does not need to be transported as a single long welded component.

6m Side Beam Trusses

The two side beams are each approximately:

6m long

Each side beam is assembled from:

2 × 3m CS389×389 truss

The complete system therefore contains:

Five 2-Ton Manual Chain Hoists

This allows the movable beam / sleeve-block system to be raised during installation using manual lifting equipment rather than requiring electric motors in the standard package.

The 2-ton designation is the hoist's stated product rating. It should not be interpreted as meaning that the complete LED truss structure has a 10-ton allowable suspended load.

The capacity of the complete structure depends on the actual configuration, screen arrangement, suspension positions, site conditions, and engineering verification.

Spigot Sleeve Blocks

The product includes:

Spigot Sleeve Block S — 5 pcs

The sleeve blocks form part of the lifting tower system and interface between the vertical tower and horizontal beam arrangement.

Why Add the Fifth Pillar?

The most visible difference between this version and a conventional four-tower rectangular ground-support system is the extra pillar behind the beam truss.

In practical product terms, this means the beam system has five tower/support locations instead of only the four perimeter positions.

This can be relevant when the LED-screen project requires a beam layout with an additional intermediate or rear support point.

However, the fifth pillar should not be described as guaranteeing a particular additional load capacity unless the complete structure has been checked for the actual project.
