How stable is the "Light" version at the full 20-foot height?While the truss itself is lightweight for transport, stability is maintained by using a heavy-duty steel base plate to lower the center of gravity. For the full 20-foot height, we recommend using a 30"x30" base plate and ensuring the load is centered.
2. Can I wrap this totem truss in spandex scrims?Absolutely. The standard 290mm square or triangle dimensions are compatible with all industry-standard spandex truss covers (scrims), allowing you to create a "glowing pillar" effect with internal LED par cans.
3. Is it possible to use this totem as a support for a cross-bar?Yes. Two totems can be used as vertical pillars to support a horizontallighting trussspan, creating a "goal-post" configuration. This is a common and safe setup for DJ booths and small concert stages.
