Product Information

Product Description

The DragonStage 5.49x1.22m Straight Aluminum Event Stage Access Ramp is designed for temporary event platforms that need a simple, continuous route between ground level and the stage.

The overall size is approximately:

18ft × 4ft
5.49m × 1.22m

Its straight-line configuration makes it easy to position beside or behind a stage without requiring a turning landing or switchback section.

This makes the ramp especially practical for weddings, corporate functions, hotel events, ceremonies, school performances, and other temporary productions where a medium-length access route is needed.

For other ramp sizes and layouts, see Typical Aluminum Ramp.

For matching temporary platforms, see Stage Platform.

Designed for Event Stage Access

This model is positioned primarily as a general event-access ramp.

Typical users can include:

• performers

• wedding participants

• presenters

• speakers

• event staff

• technicians

• production crew

The continuous surface can also accommodate suitable small wheeled carts or light event equipment when the required load has been confirmed.

Straight 18ft Access Route

The ramp follows one continuous straight path.

There are:

• no 90-degree turns

• no switchback sections

• no intermediate landing

This keeps the structure simple and makes it practical for venues where approximately 18ft / 5.49m of straight-line space is available.

Standard 4 × 4ft Modular Deck System

The ramp uses standard:

4 × 4ft / 1.22 × 1.22m modular deck sections

Using repeatable deck modules makes the ramp easier to:

• transport

• store

• assemble

• dismantle

• replace

• extend for future projects

The final support arrangement depends on the stage height and required ramp geometry.

Dual-Side Guardrails

Guardrails are installed along both sides of the access route.

Confirmed guardrail height:

3.28ft / 1.0m

The guardrails create a clearly defined passage between ground level and the stage.

Why an 18ft Ramp Is Practical

An 18ft ramp sits between very short stage-transition ramps and long backstage loading systems.

It can be useful when:

• a 3m ramp is too short

• a 7–10m production ramp is unnecessary

• the stage is used for weddings or ceremonies

• the venue has moderate side-stage space

• performers and guests need a dedicated entrance

• compact storage and transport are still important

This makes it a practical medium-length configuration for general event use.

Typical Applications

• Wedding stages

• Corporate events

• Hotel functions

• Ceremony stages

• School performances

• Graduation platforms

• Church events

• Exhibition platforms

• Speaker and presenter access

• Temporary event stages

Event Access vs. Heavy Equipment Loading

This product is primarily positioned as an event-stage access ramp.

If the main purpose is moving heavy flight cases, AV carts, or large production equipment, the equipment dimensions and required loading should be provided so a suitable loading-ramp configuration can be selected.

For related stage-access products, see Stage Accessories.

Modular Aluminum Construction

The ramp is designed as a temporary modular event component rather than a permanently fixed structure.

This allows the same system to be:

• installed repeatedly

• dismantled after events

• transported between venues

• stored compactly

• maintained by replacing individual components

• adapted for future stage projects

How to Confirm the Final Configuration

Before production, please provide:

• finished stage height

• available straight-line space

• intended users

• whether carts or equipment will use the ramp

• required load

• indoor or outdoor use

DragonStage can then confirm the final slope, support heights, deck quantity, and stage connection.

Important Product Note

The confirmed configuration includes:

• overall length: 18ft / approx. 5.49m

• overall width: 4ft / approx. 1.22m

• standard deck: 4 × 4ft / 1.22 × 1.22m

• straight-line layout

• aluminum structure

• guardrails on both sides

• guardrail height: 1m / 3.28ft

The final stage height, slope, allowable load, support arrangement, and stage connection should be confirmed according to the actual project.
