    waterproof event stage lights are much more expensive than normal ones with the same specifications. and waterproof lights are heavier than normal one with good water tight design.

Its origins can be traced back to January 1991 when the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) first introduced the concept of "Green Lights" and initiated the "Green Lights Program." This concept received support from the United Nations as well as many developed and developing countries. In China, the State Economic and Trade Commission started the "China Green Lighting Project" in November 1993, aiming to conserve energy, protect the environment, and improve lighting quality.
    The essence of green lighting includes four main criteria: energy efficiency, environmental friendliness, safety, and comfort. Energy efficiency means obtaining sufficient illumination with minimal energy consumption, thereby reducing emissions from power plants and achieving environmental goals. Safety and comfort refer to clear and soft lighting that does not produce harmful elements such as ultraviolet rays and glare, and it should not contribute to light pollution.
    Implementing green lighting requires scientific and rational lighting design, as well as the use of lighting fixtures with high efficiency, long lifespan, safety, and stable performance. Green lighting should create an efficient, comfortable, safe, economical, and beneficial environment, fully reflecting modern civilization.
    In the context of green lighting for stage lighting fixtures, in addition to being energy-efficient, environmentally friendly, and safe, they should also possess excellent performance for artistic presentations. Stage lighting, as a form of artistic illumination, is dynamic and focuses on artistic effects. Therefore, key requirements for stage lighting fixtures in green lighting include energy efficiency, environmental friendliness, safety, and excellent artistic functionality while ensuring the comfort of performers.

    High Luminous Efficacy Light Sources
    High luminous efficacy light sources are paramount for green lighting fixtures. Traditional halogen light sources have an efficacy of only 20 lm/W to 30 lm/W, while metal halide light sources can reach around 60 lm/W to 95 lm/W. The most promising LED light sources currently achieve a luminous efficacy of over 140 lm/W, and this efficiency is continuously improving. Therefore, selecting high luminous efficacy light sources is fundamental for energy-efficient lighting fixtures. Of course, the choice of light source in fixture design involves various other factors that need comprehensive consideration.
    High-Efficiency Fixtures
    High-efficiency fixtures are typically measured by two parameters: fixture efficacy, which represents the fixture's effective luminous flux compared to the total luminous flux of the light source, reflecting the fixture's utilization of light and expressed as a percentage. The other parameter is fixture luminous efficiency, which is the effective luminous flux of the fixture divided by the total electric power consumed by the light source and all necessary electrical accessories to ensure the light source's normal operation, measured in lm/W. Fixture luminous efficiency includes light source luminous efficacy and fixture efficacy and is usually expressed in lm/W. Currently, fixture luminous efficiency, or simply efficacy, is favored because it directly indicates the fixture's energy efficiency. Stage fixtures, especially spotlight fixtures, have stringent requirements and often have efficacies ranging from 10 lm/W to 20 lm/W. Incandescent light source fixtures often have efficiencies below 10 lm/W. Therefore, enhancing the efficacy of stage lighting fixtures is a crucial aspect of implementing green lighting. The use of LED fixtures offers significant energy-saving advantages. However, the fixture's luminous efficacy is influenced by the rationality of the optical system design and the quality of LED chips and optical components. Unreasonable design can lead to low luminous efficacy in LED fixtures, which has been confirmed through our practical testing. Hence, it's essential not to blindly assume that LED fixtures are inherently energy-saving and environmentally friendly. Only through rational design and application of LEDs can truly energy-efficient and environmentally friendly fixtures be produced.
    High-Efficiency Electrical Accessories
    New types of fixtures (such as computer lights and LED fixtures) incorporate intricate power circuits and control devices. The efficiency of these components directly affects the fixtures' energy-saving performance. Metal halide light sources take a long time to reach their rated light output after startup. Consequently, the light source operates throughout the entire performance, consuming a significant amount of electricity. Therefore, reducing power consumption during operation by lowering power after the computer light gate is closed is essential.

    In the production process, lighting fixtures, including their light sources and electrical components, should conserve raw materials, energy, and minimize waste.
