The DragonStage 4.88x2.44m Outdoor Event Stage is a compact adjustable platform designed for temporary events that need more working area than a small podium but do not require a large concert stage.

The actual finished footprint is:

4.88 × 2.44m
16 × 8ft

providing approximately:

11.9m² / 128ft⊃2;

of usable platform area.

The height is adjustable from:

0.6 to 1.0m
approximately
2.0 to 3.3ft

and the current configuration includes two access stairs.

For other stage sizes and configurations, see Stage Platform.

Why Two Stairs Matter

For a compact stage, two stairs are not simply an extra accessory.

They give the event organizer more flexibility in arranging access.

Depending on the venue layout, two stairs can support:

• performer entry and exit

• separate staff access

• access from two different sides

• faster circulation during ceremonies

• different backstage and audience-side routes

The exact stair positions can be arranged according to the event layout rather than being permanently fixed to one location.

Suitable for Community and Ceremony Events

A 16×8ft platform is large enough for many small and medium event applications while remaining significantly easier to transport and install than a large concert platform.

Typical uses include:

• community events

• school performances

• church activities

• award ceremonies

• DJ performances

• public speaking

• product presentations

• hotel functions

• wedding activities

• local cultural events

• temporary outdoor performances

This page is therefore better positioned around small public-event and ceremony use rather than competing directly with larger concert-stage products.

Adjustable Height from 0.6 to 1.0m

The confirmed height range is:

0.6–1.0m

This gives the user flexibility to select a finished height according to the actual venue and event requirement.

A lower setup may be more suitable for:

• presentations

• smaller audiences

• indoor functions

• ceremonies

while the upper end of the range can provide more elevation for outdoor or performance applications.

The final stair arrangement should correspond to the selected finished stage height.

16×8ft Is a Practical Medium-Size Platform

This stage sits between a small podium and a larger multi-panel event platform.

It can provide enough room for:

• several performers

• DJ equipment

• presenters

• speakers

• small bands

• ceremony participants

• product displays

while still maintaining a relatively narrow 8ft / 2.44m depth.

This shape is particularly practical when venue depth is limited but more horizontal stage width is needed.

Modular Stage Logic

Temporary event stages are designed to be assembled, dismantled, transported, and reused rather than installed permanently.

That modular approach gives rental companies and event suppliers several advantages:

• easier transport

• repeat installation

• component replacement

• configuration changes

• future expansion

• reuse across different events

For broader modular-stage options, see Typical Modular Stage 4x8ft.

The exact deck size and support-component quantities for this SKU should follow the confirmed production BOM rather than being copied from another 16×8ft DragonStage product.

Different from the 16×8ft Quick Stage

DragonStage already has another 16×8ft product using a Quick Stage configuration.

That product is listed with:

• 4.88×2.44m size

• 4×8ft modular panels

• one stair

• several height options

while this page is specifically indexed as:

• 4.88×2.44m

• 0.6–1.0m

• 2 stairs.

So these pages should not use identical titles or descriptions.

This page should focus on the dual-stair outdoor event configuration, while the Quick Stage page should focus on the Quick Stage support system and height-choice logic.

Dual Access for Events

Two stair units can be useful when event circulation matters.

For example, one access point may be used by performers entering the platform while the second can support exiting, crew movement, or another side of the venue.

This is particularly useful for:

• school ceremonies

• church activities

• community performances

• presentation stages

• award events

• multi-speaker programs

The stair position itself should be confirmed according to the final site plan.

Guardrails and Additional Accessories

The confirmed product listing does not state that guardrails are included as standard.

If the final application requires additional edge protection, access equipment, skirts, ramps, or other components, these can be configured separately.

See Stage Accessories for related stage components.

What Should Be Confirmed Before Ordering?

Please confirm:

• indoor or outdoor use

If the customer already owns DragonStage stage components, the existing deck and support-system dimensions should also be checked for compatibility.

Important Product Note

The information currently confirmed for this SKU is:

• actual size: 4.88×2.44m / 16×8ft

• adjustable height: 0.6–1.0m

• stair quantity: 2 pcs.

The current publicly indexed information does not provide enough SKU-specific evidence to confirm:

• brace quantity

• support-leg quantity

• adjustable-base quantity

• verified allowable load

• guardrail inclusion

• packing weight

• packing volume

• outdoor wind resistance

• project-specific engineering approval

FAQ

What is the actual size of this stage?
The actual finished size is 4.88×2.44m, approximately 16×8ft. The old product title's “4x2m” wording is not the actual finished dimension.

What is the adjustable height range?
The confirmed height range is 0.6–1.0m, approximately 2.0–3.3ft.

How many stairs are included?
The current product listing states that two stairs are included.

Why does this stage have two stairs?
Two stairs give more flexibility for performer, crew, or event access and can be positioned according to the venue layout.

Is this suitable for outdoor events?
Yes. The current product is listed as an outdoor stage platform. Final setup should still consider the ground condition, height, access, weather exposure, and any additional equipment attached to the stage.

Can it be used indoors?
Yes. A 16×8ft footprint is also suitable for halls, schools, churches, hotels, and other temporary indoor event spaces.

Is this a Quick Stage?
The current indexed information does not identify this SKU as the same Quick Stage product as the separate 16×8ft Quick Stage listing, so the two should remain differentiated.

Can guardrails be added?
Yes. Guardrails can be configured when required according to the finished height and application.

Can one of the stairs be removed?
Yes. Stair quantity can be discussed according to the actual event layout, but the currently listed standard configuration contains two stairs.

Can the stage size be customized?
Yes. DragonStage manufactures modular Stage Platform systems in different widths, depths, and heights.

Does the current page confirm a load capacity?
No verified SKU-specific allowable load is available in the indexed information, so a load rating should not be added without supporting production or test data.

What information is needed for quotation?
Please provide the required stage height, quantity, event application, stair positions, guardrail requirement, and indoor or outdoor use.

Why Choose DragonStage

DragonStage manufactures modular event stages in different sizes, heights, deck systems, and access configurations.

For this SKU, the useful distinction is its compact 16×8ft footprint combined with 0.6–1.0m adjustable height and two access stairs.

That makes it a practical option for temporary events where the stage does not need to be large, but flexible access from more than one position is useful.
