Main Specifications

24m Wide Curved Aluminum Truss Structure

The upper event structure has a requested overall size of:

24m wide × 18m deep × 15m high

Its most recognizable feature is the series of large curved aluminum truss arches extending across the event area.

The curved trusses are connected by straight longitudinal truss sections to form one complete temporary event framework.

Compared with a conventional rectangular truss frame, this type of multi-arch configuration provides a distinctive visual profile and a large open area beneath the truss structure.

For other products using this type of geometry, see our Typical Curve Roof Truss System.

21.96m × 14.4m Large Event Stage

The stage requested for this project measures:

21.96m wide × 14.4m deep × 2m high

This creates a large elevated performance and event area beneath the curved truss structure.

DragonStage can supply the stage together with the truss system so that the customer does not need to source the major stage and overhead structure components from separate suppliers.

Depending on the final confirmed configuration, a complete stage package can include:

• Modular stage decks

• Stage support structure

• Adjustable base components

• Connection components

• Stage stairs

• Guardrails where required

• Related stage accessories

Customers looking for other platform configurations can also browse our Aluminum Stage product range.

Large Multi-Arch Truss Configuration

The customer's reference structure uses multiple curved truss arches rather than a single front and rear roof beam.

From the supplied reference images, the product concept includes:

• Multiple large curved aluminum truss arches

• Longitudinal straight truss connections

• Perimeter truss sections

• Large clear event space beneath the structure

• Separate large stage platform below

The exact number of arches, arch radius, truss cross-section, segment lengths, and connection configuration must be confirmed from the final drawing before quotation and production.

DragonStage will not determine these specifications from the reference photo alone.

Suitable for Large Event Applications

A 24m × 18m × 15m structure is significantly larger than a typical small event truss frame.

This type of customized system may be considered for applications such as:

• Stadium ceremonies

• Concert productions

• Music festivals

• Large corporate events

• Sports-event ceremonies

• Public celebrations

• Large temporary event installations

The open curved framework can also be used as the basis for customized lighting, decoration, branding, or other event-equipment arrangements once the actual equipment requirements are confirmed.

Truss and Stage Supplied as One Project Package

For this project, the customer is not simply purchasing several curved truss sections.

The quotation covers two major product systems:

24m × 18m × 15m curved aluminum truss structure

21.96m × 14.4m × 2m event stage

DragonStage can coordinate the manufacture and supply of both systems according to one confirmed project drawing and BOQ.

This is particularly useful for large overseas projects where compatibility, component identification, packing, and installation sequence need to be considered before shipment.

Custom Manufacturing

The dimensions on this page represent this customer's current quotation requirement.

DragonStage can manufacture similar large event structures with different:

• Overall widths

• Overall depths

• Structure heights

• Arch profiles

• Number of curved truss frames

• Truss cross-sections

• Longitudinal truss arrangements

• Stage dimensions

• Stage heights

• Stage stairs

• Guardrails

• Surface finishes

• Equipment installation positions

For non-standard projects, see our Custom Stage Production capability.

What Must Be Confirmed Before Final Quotation

For a structure of this scale, the overall dimensions are enough for an initial discussion, but not enough for the final manufacturing quotation.

For this particular project, I would ask the customer to confirm at least:

• Final overall truss dimensions

• Number of curved arch frames

• Required arch profile / drawing

• Truss cross-section or required truss series

• Whether a roof cover is required

• Lighting equipment to be installed

• LED screens, if any

• Speakers or line arrays, if any

• Other suspended equipment

• Total equipment weights and hanging positions

• Stage access requirements

• Number and position of stairs

• Guardrail requirements

• Installation location

• Indoor or outdoor use

• Ground condition

• Existing structural or event drawings

If the customer does not yet have a detailed drawing, the current reference images and confirmed overall dimensions can be used as the starting point for further configuration.

Roof Cover Is Not Automatically Included

The reference photograph shows the aluminum truss skeleton without a finished roof membrane installed over the complete structure.

Therefore, this product page should not automatically describe the product as a covered roof system.

If the customer requires:

• PVC roof cover

• Transparent cover

• Partial cover

• Side cover

• Weather protection

these requirements should be confirmed separately before quotation.

This distinction is important because adding a roof membrane changes the project requirements and should not be assumed simply from the curved truss shape.

Lighting and Equipment Installation

Large aluminum truss structures are often used together with event lighting, audio, LED displays, decorations, and other production equipment.

However, the customer has not yet provided those specifications for this project.

DragonStage therefore does not claim a specific hanging capacity for this 24m structure based only on its overall dimensions.

Before equipment positions are finalized, customers should provide:

• Equipment type

• Quantity

• Weight

• Hanging position

• Required installation height

• Hoist arrangement where applicable

This information can then be considered when preparing the final product configuration.

Manufacturing and Supply Scope

Depending on the final confirmed order, DragonStage can prepare a complete supply package covering the main component groups required for the project.

Typical supply groups may include:

Curved Truss System

• Curved aluminum truss sections

• Straight connecting truss

• Connection components

• Required accessories

Stage System

• Stage decks

• Stage support components

• Bases

• Connections

• Stairs

• Guardrails where specified

Project Accessories

• Truss connection hardware

• Stage connection hardware

• Packing and identification

• Other confirmed installation components

The final BOQ should be prepared from the approved configuration rather than estimated solely from the reference photographs.

Why This Product Belongs in DragonStage's Custom Product Range

The commercial value of this product is not only its large size.

It demonstrates DragonStage's ability to manufacture non-standard curved truss sections and a matching large stage package according to customer-supplied dimensions and reference images.

The customer may start with only:

“24m wide × 18m deep × 15m high, with a 21.96m × 14.4m × 2m stage.”

The next manufacturing step is to turn those overall dimensions into a confirmed component configuration and BOQ.

That is the role of a custom manufacturer rather than simply supplying standard straight truss lengths.

Important Engineering Note

The following dimensions are confirmed customer requirements:

Truss structure: 24m W × 18m D × 15m H
Stage: 21.96m W × 14.4m D × 2m H

The reference images also confirm the intended multi-arch curved truss appearance.

However, they do not confirm:

• Truss cross-section

• Aluminum tube specification

• Number of required arch sections

• Allowable suspended load

• Stage load capacity

• Wind resistance

• Roof-cover wind loading

• Ballast requirement

• Ground anchoring

• Foundation requirement

• Safety factor

• Engineering approval

These items must be determined from the final project information and, where required, verified engineering calculations.
